Why I Tweet

I Started tweeting back in November, 2008 and really didn't understand what I was doing. At the time I only tweeted a few times, that changed in February of 2009 when I decided to experiment. February was when I decided lets test this thing for myself. So I started a schedule like this. I got up in the morning at 9:00am and tweeted until 11:30 am and the went to work, I worked for two hours went home and tweeted for three more hours went back to work, worked three to four hours then went home and tweeted between five to six hours. During this time I got to know just about everything there was to know about Twitter. I gained friends and chatted with many of them every day. I shared jokes, quotes and news I even threw what I did for a living as a Chef, I shared the fact I have home businesses. I also shared personal issues and discovered that Twitter was an outlet for my pain and loss with my divorce. Twitter became the thing or counsel that helped me to heal and reconnect with the outside world. I consider everyone I have communicated with on Twitter my healers of the soul, I am fortunate to have met so many inspiring people via this great social media. This Why I tweet and why I will continue to tweet, for all of those who chose to follow me on Twitter I consider my support group. Thank you Twitter family you all truly rock. |
